Monthly meetings

Join in for a monthly morning of games (indoors or out - depending on the weather) and a light potluck brunch. It is potluck style, so bring along your favourite brunch dish and your preferred game (board game or outdoor game) and enjoy some social time together. 

We hope to host these each month!

If you enjoyed the Good Ol' Country Gospel Concert in Cambridge last November, then we have another treat for you. This is a Christmas concert titled "Old Time Country Christmas" and it is at the Paris Fairgrounds in the Agricultural Hall. Old Time Country Christmas promises to get the joy of the Christmas Spirit singing loud and clear in your heart.

It is taking place on Monday December 18, 2023. We will first enjoy a delicious dinner that includes appetizers, salads, potatoes, vegetables, 2 meats and tasty pies for dessert, in our Hope Church Fellowship Hall at 5 p.m. catered by none other than Carol Vellenga & family.

After dinner we head to the Paris Fairgrounds for the concert which starts at 7 p.m. Transportation to Paris is not included so if you are unable to arrange a ride, please let John Gilson know.

Individually, the cost of the concert alone is $45 per person and the cost of the dinner is $22 per person for a total of almost $70. However, Scott Woods has agreed to give us a very nice discount if we can get at least 30 people to sign up. For the Cambridge concert, we had 45 seniors in attendance so at least 30 is very doable. As a result, the total cost of the concert, including dinner and gratuity is only $50 per person.
