Family Comedy Night
Stand-up comedian Leland Klassen is back in Canada providing a much needed night of laughter.
Leland returns to the Canada after primarily working the last three years in the USA. He's got a bunch of new jokes and situations to tell you about. Join him for a fun night for the whole family. Leland has appeared on Just for Laughs, Comedy Network, CBC, Netflix, starred in the feature film Extraordinary and most recently wrote and starred in the movie Sleeper Agent.
Summer Day Camp
July 24-28, 2023
Hope has partnered with Camp Shalom to offer you DAY CAMP, right here on Buchanan Crescent in Brantford! Get your kids outdoors this summer, learning new skills, playing games, creating crafts, enjoying the water, making friends, and learning about their Saviour Jesus Christ!
NYE Outdoor Campfire Service
UPDATE! December 31st, 2022 from 5:30-7pm
WE ARE MOVING INDOORS!
Let's join together to focus on the past year of 2022! Sip some hot chocolate or coffee, enjoy a hot dog or a traditional treat (oliebollen) and share in the joy and peace of this season. We will have a Peace Tree, everyone is encouraged to create a PEACE DOVE in advance(kits will be available and can be made in the council room)and visit the Disagreeing Well to reflect and release, using rocks to symbolize prayers for peace around the world. Children will also receive a take away bag. There is NO admission cost or RSVP for this event (it is free!) If the rain lightens up we still hope to have a fire pit or two to enjoy outside.
*We will host this service in the foyer/fellowship hall.
Day to Encourage

Save the Date for EQUIP 2022! SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 10th, 2022. This day is set aside to encourage, inspire and equip you for serving in God's Kingdom. This year, we would like to openly invite all members of Hope to help prepare you for serving at Hope and your communities. We plan to have some workshops such as 'Welcoming/Enfolding Guests', 'How to Facilitate a Small Group', 'TECH for Ministry' and more. We will also offer a training session specifically set up for the DWELL curriculum for Sunday School teachers. Save the Date for this important day! Light Brunch will be provided!
More details will be posted soon. Registration will begin in August.
City Wide Food Drive
Was held Saturday June 11th, 2022
The 4th Annual 'One Church' City-Wide Community Food Drive will take place and communities/churches in Brantford will be collecting food for the Brantford Food Bank. Last year, we were able to collect 47,000 lbs of food for the Brantford Food Bank! To help out please email fooddrive@hopecrc.ca
Global 6K Walk for Water

Join our 'Hope team' walk/run the Global 6K for Water.... we are encouraging you to walk with your family or set some personal goals. With restrictions in place, we will not be walking all together on May 26th. However, as a Hope team, we are here to encourage you and support you along your way to prepare for this Walk/Run. CNOY (Coldest Night of the Year)

It's cold out there. The Coldest Night of the Year is a covid-safe, family-friendly walk to raise money for charities serving people experiencing homelessness, hurt, and hunger. It's been a hard year, and the fallout has been real.
Now, more than ever, we need to come together as a community to support those for whom the price of a difficult COVID year has cost their homes or their families. College & Careers BBQ Kickoff
SUNDAY Sept 20th at 7PM
This event is intended as a bit of a meet and greet and discussion about what the next year is going to look like. We will be providing drinks, hot dogs, and snacks. This will be an outdoor event(campfire) and we will be social distancing.

Coldest Night of the Year 2020

The Coldest Night of the Year is a moment when tens of thousands of Canadians step outside the warmth and comfort of home and shine a light of welcome and inclusion. Our local walk is hosted by a ministry we support, Why Not Youth Centres who serve and support vulnerable families/youth and individuals in our CNOY community. Stress-Anxiety-Depression

A special worship service and seminar will be combined with the 5pm worship service on January 12th. 5:00 -5:45 Worship service, followed by a light dinner, 6:30-8:00 An engaging presentation by Michael Glugosh. Theologically trained, Michael is the managing director of the Mountainview Clinic for Stress & Anxiety. For 25 years he has been helping people to combat stress, anxiety and depression.
Community Carol Sing - Dec 22
All are welcome to this family friendly evening. Invite a friend or your neighbour. Doors open at 4pm.
4pm: Hot Chocolate and cookies will be served
5pm: the carol sing will begin.
Jeremy Benjamin Concert

Save-the-Date! Jeremy Benjamin and his family are coming back to Hope Christian Reformed Church in Brantford on Saturday, November 30 as part of his Wonderlove Tour. Come on out to celebrate the release of his new album, Wonderlove, which includes the over-20 000 voices recorded on the song I Am Not My Own, as well as to hear new music and stories from Jeremy and Lara and their children, Isaiah and Kiara.

Back to School Carnival
Tuesday August 20, 2019 from 4pm-6pm
The Back to School Carnival facilitated by Jacob's Well Ministries was held again this year for our neighbours. Our goal as a church community was to collect and donate 100 backpacks and school snacks to fill each backpack! It was an amazing event, God is good.
