The Christian Reformed Church held its first service in Brantford on Sunday, July 24, 1949 in the Alexandra Presbyterian Church with 35 people in attendance. Two years later, on July 29, 1951 the church became incorporated and was called First Christian Reformed Church. We thank God for this congregation's many years as a community of Christians who joyfully worship together, grow together, and share Christ’s saving love together and with others - all to the glory of God. While we would love to have a larger anniversary celebration, our intention is to do so when pandemic restrictions allow for fuller social interaction (and sharing of food!). Anniversaries are good times to look back and remember, but also to look forward and renew our commitments in the light of God's faithfulness.
