DON'T FORGET
When trouble comes against you
Praise God anyway
He will never forsake you…never
Be humble, seek Him and pray.
When trials in life are difficult
And you feel life cannot go on
Take another step toward Jesus
When He takes burdens…they’re gone.
When someone hurts you
Praise God anyway
Do not let anger take root
It will be hard to pray.
When you feel so alone
Your eyes are filled with tears
That’s when you must remember
God can cancel all your fears.
When friends have no time for you
And your smile has faded away
Rise up, even when pressed down
Just praise God anyway.
Praise God in the morning
Praise Him in the night
Praise God and pray
It keeps your Faith bright.

CLIMB THE MOUNTAIN
Once you have been in the dark valley
And then climb up the mountain top
You can see more clear to press on
To realize why you must not stop.
The way was not easy for Jesus
And the way may not be easy for you
He never complained of His burdens
So, if we whine, what good does that do?
There is a reason or perhaps a purpose
For the trials that come our way
Many things in life we do not understand
God knows and He asks us to humbly pray.
Trust God to bring you safely through
Rise up and praise Him with your voice
He waits patiently for you to come to Him
In good times and not so good…rejoice!
Nothing escapes the eyes of our loving God
He looks on the inside of our heart
That is the reason to keep the heart clean
He sees the secret things hidden that never depart.
Stay close to God
He will stay close to you
Do the best you can

REJOICE WITH PRAISE
When life brings trials of discouragement
And your prayers delay…do not worry
Keep your Faith and God will answer you
Be patient because He is never in a hurry.
Trust in Him to bring you through it all
Then lean on Him to keep you strong
Do not lean to your own understanding
He will guide and protect you from doing wrong.
Smile and relax as best you can
Jesus is coming one of these days
Trials and troubles will soon be done
Rise up to rejoice…give Him praise.
There is a better land beyond here
And it is only a heart beat away
The Angels will welcome us to sing
With troubles forgotten in Eternal Day.
Heaven’s gate will never be closed
No evil can enter this heavenly place
Oh! The joy to be saved and praise God
And all because of His mercy and grace.

GUIDE AND USE ME
My life is a vessel used by God
So, use me for Your glory today
I will work for You ‘til life ends
I depend on You to guide my way.
I will trust in You and obey
Even if I may stumble or fall
With Your help, I will rise again
Lead me, Lord, through it all.
Prayer opens the door to Faith
Without Faith, I cannot please You
When trials and tribulations come
Guide me Lord, ‘til life is through.
When trouble comes against me
Teach me, Lord, to always say
Not my will, but Thine be done
Just never let me forget to pray.
As I take up my cross daily
I’ll find a quiet place to pray
Jesus will be there waiting for me
Use me, Lord, for Your glory today.

BE OF GOOD COURAGE
Bless the Lord, O my soul
Forget not all His benefits today
He has made this day for us
Let’s pray as He guides our way.
Give thanks to the Lord and sing
Call on His Name and rejoice
He knows the way that is best
Praise Him with your voice.
Trust in Him…He will help you
His Mercy will endure forever
Do not wander from His Commands
He will never fail you…never.
Seek Him with all your heart
He is your Strength and Shield
He will give you understanding
Pray, and great will be your yield.
Be of good courage when you are weak
God will lead and guide you
He is your Refuge in times of trouble
Obey His Word and be patient, too.

A dear friend passed from this world to eternity, recently.
I miss her words “I’ll pray for you and you pray for me.”
MENTION MY NAME IN PRAYER
When you pray to God this day
He is waiting to meet you there
When you ask Him to erase your pain
Please mention my name in your prayer.
He is with us through every trial
He takes all our burdens to bear
Every need and want is known to Him
He hears and listens to every prayer.
When the load is heavy to carry
God handles every prayer with care
There are things we cannot understand
Just mention my name in your prayer.
Our trust in God brings us through
Faith conquers every fear for us
Prayers touch His heart when we obey
He is on His throne…thank Him for Jesus.
Sometimes we fail to see someone’s need
We’re blind as in the suns bright glare
In those moments when you think of me
Just mention my name in your prayer.
The Lord guides us through every trial
He hears every prayer…old or new
The path I take may be difficult today
Please pray for me and I’ll pray for you.

FIND A QUIET PLACE
When we are discouraged with trials
Spend some quiet time in prayer
It humbles us and we know...
Jesus will meet us there.
When alone with tear dimmed eyes
Find a quiet place to pray
Think of Jesus and all He endured
Oh! but who could brush His tears away?
Believe in the cross at Calvary
Jesus suffered pain and shame
He died and then arose again
He Lives!...praise His precious Name.P
Jesus prayed in the Garden of Gethesame
Setting the example we need to pray
He will abide 'til our journey ends
He will guide us to that Eternal Day.
When we become discouraged in life
Let's remember...Jesus had trouble too
Just find a quiet place and pray
He is with us 'til life is through.

Can We Imagine...
Have you ever wondered
What Heaven will be like?
Will we be excited as when
We rode our first new bike?
When we see Jesus, our Savior
The look into His gentle eyes
Can we only try to imagine
We're home where no-one dies?
When we see all the Angels
And sing with them in chorus
Won't it be wonderful that day
With none out-of-tune to bore us?
When we walk on those streets
That are paved with pure gold
Can we just try to imagine
We're where no one grows old?
When we see all those flowers
That will never fade or die
Won't it just be wonderful
We'll never have questions of "why"?
When we finally enter into Heaven
To walk through the City gate
Can we just try to imagine
We're where our loved ones wait?
When we see those precious gems
Knowing we will never again roam
Will we be excited or will we stare
To realize we are finally safe at Home?

Only A Heart Beat
There is only a heart beat from here
To that beautiful Paradise in Heaven
We will soar above where an Eagle flies
If all our sins on earth are forgiven.
No confusion or turmoil can enter
There will never be anything to fear
There will be a never ending peace
It's only just a heart beat from here.
Tranquil joys will be ours forever
We will sing with the Angels there
Walking streets of the Heavenly City
Troubles erased and a Crown to wear.
When we come to the end of our journey
Then rise to meet Jesus in Paradise
We shall behold far beyond imagine
We'll be where no one grieves or dies.
Far beyond the vast horizon, we'll see
All the beauty God has for us there
We only get a glimpse in a sunset
Of that beautiful Paradise "somewhere."
It seems dark and dim to us now
Yet, everything will all be made clear
Paradise is not far away at all
It's only a heart beat...from here.

Be Still And Know
Be still and know there is a God
He is beside you every new day
Even though it seems you're alone
You're in His presence when you pray.
He sees every tear that ever falls
He knows every pain that you bear
He hears every cry of sorrow endured
For you, every moment He does care.
Be still and listen as He speaks to you
Study His Word and know He is God
Every promise that is written there
Proves His truth as the journey you trod.
Sometimes, we take our eyes off Him
We wish our trials would never be
Sometimes we just cannot understand
Yet...He still cares for you and even me.
Be still and know He guides your way
You are surrounded with His divine Love
He sends Angels to keep watch over you
'Til you reach the Father in Heaven above.
We walk by Faith and not by sight
Trials only test...to see if we are true
Just trust in Him and don't give up
He will bring you safely on through.

Who I Am
It's a new day that is given me
I must now make my choice
Who will I choose to serve today?
I must listen for God's calm voice.
With Christ, I can always conquer
If I walk in His love every day
There's darkness all around me
Yet, I have no fear when I pray.
God created me in His image
In His presence, I love to be
He guides and protects me still
He proves...He loves even me.
Greater is He that is in me
Than he that is in the world
That's who I am 'til Jesus comes
Even when Satan's darts are hurled.
I'll continue to work for Jesus
Trying to be all He wants me to be
By His stripes...I receive healing
His blood at Calvary sets me free.
Who am I...when tempted to sin?
Who am I...when too busy to pray?
Who am I...when sorrows come?
Who I am, depends on "me" every day.

Weary of Trials
Are you weary of trials in life
To cause an un-rest and pain?
Are you too busy to read the Bible?
Do you feel the sting off tears stain?
Let nothing come between you and God
He is with you wherever you go
He waits with patience to guide you
His Grace...He wants you to know.
You are not alone with a heavy heart
God gently offers His sweet Peace
Even if your feet slip to go astray
His love for you will never cease.
Jesus walked the steep hill to Calvary
Then gave His life on the rugged cross
His blood stained the wood there
Yet, for you and me...it was no loss.
He suffered in pain and agony
Oh, what He had to endure
Surely, our trials are as nothing
Let's strive to keep our heart pure.

Courage
There's courage in encouragement
There’s courage in discouragement too
Pause a moment and remember
God's Grace is sufficient for you.
Be strong and of good courage
Do not let your heart be afraid
God is with you wherever you go
He will not fail, but come to your aid.
Sing praises to God with understanding
He listens to every whispered prayer
He is great and greatly to be praised
He gives courage and love to share.
Press onward with Peace and Hope
God is your refuge and Strong Tower
Trust in Him…He will deliver you
In His Word, there is great power.
Forgive others to be forgiven
Be of good courage and believe
With God, nothing is impossible
Rejoice and in His love, you will receive.

Psalms of Praise
Bless the Lord, O my soul
Your loving kindness I see
He is my God of Salvation
In His presence I love to be.
He is my strength and hope
In Him only I will trust
There’s peace within my heart
Yet, I know I am only dust.
He is my Rock and Fortress
I will praise Him more and more
There is none like Him anywhere
Here and now, He is keeping score.
His Name is precious to me
He is forever the same
I will sing and give thanks
Joyfully, I praise His Name.
He is my Lord and Redeemer
His Commandments I’ll obey
He sees the secrets of my heart
I surrender all to Him today.

I’ll Cry With You
Trials in life come to us all
Even when we do not understand
I cannot fix it, but I cry with you
It’s all known in God’s Master plan.
I cry with you in your pain
I’ll be there when tears come your way
When your heart hurts, mine does too
In your discouragement, I will pray.
God is with you in the darkness
He gives His strength to endure
Cling to Hope…you will rise again
He is the answer for every cure.
When things are so hard for you
Think of Jesus on the cross that day
His Mother cried for Him in pain
I’ll cry with you, even while I pray.
Wish I could fix all your hurts
I’d make you feel better too
I know God will heal you again
So ‘til then…I’ll cry with you.

THERE IS JOY
There is joy in every sunrise
It’s a wonderful time to pray
Spend time with God and then…
Speak with Him through the day.
Lift someone up from their trial
Someday, you may be in need too
Don’t be silent when you can help
The day will soon be through.
Take time to do a good deed
Someone may need you today
Don’t leave it for someone else
And don’t ever forget to pray.
There is joy in every sunset
As shadows creep across the ground
Speak with God in the darkness
You will find blessings abound.
The hours may be long in the night
As someone’s tears fall with pain
Just a phone call in the silence
May help them to smile again.

IN ALL THINGS REJOICE
If you are going through life
With a heart troubled within
If you feel as no-one loves you
And you would rather live in sin.
Jesus waits patiently for you
Pleading gently, “Come to Me”
Follow where He leads you today
Come…and He will make you free.
Do not ever give up your Faith
You must never give up Hope
God is your Strength and Peace
In times as this…He helps you cope.
Let Him work a Miracle in you
He can restore you again today
When you are weak…He is strong
Ask Him to help and guide your way.
He gives new mercies every morning
Trust in Him…He cannot fail
He gives Favors and Blessings
Even when trials and troubles assail.
He cares for you…have Courage
In songs of Praise, lift up your voice
He will bring you safely through
Be thankful and in all things…Rejoice!

BEGGAR ON THE STREET
I met a lonely beggar
Walking down the street
I talked about Jesus and he said,
”O, that name…don’t repeat.”
I walked along beside him
There was no smile on his face
He looked sad and forlorn
I told of God’s love and grace.
His eyes were cold and frozen
He stared away from me
His feet walked more slow
I told of Christ’s love at Calvary.
I told him, “God loves you”
He then stopped his pace
He said, “Yes, I remember”
Yet, God’s peace he failed to embrace.
“Please, Sir, let’s sit down”
This beggar commenced to weep
”I’ve had no one to love me”
“And, you see, no place to sleep.”
We talked for quite awhile
He wiped away his tears
He said “I’ll follow Jesus…
I’ve wasted many years”.
This beggar then smiled
We said, “good-bye…
Let’s meet at Jesus’ feet
Together, let’s meet again in the sky”.

AN INSIGHT OF HEAVEN
If you want to know more of Heaven
And what it will be like to be there
Read Revelations…Chapter twenty-one
Then study Chapter twenty-two with prayer.
It will be a beautiful home far away
There is no darkness and Jesus is the Light
No sin can ever be welcome there
Someday, we will take a Heavenly flight.
Prayers will not be needed anymore
We will praise Jesus forever, instead
Our Faith will be turned to sight there
No death can enter and no tears shed.
No lonely hours of night will be known
No sickness or pain can ever be there
Those with one leg or no legs at all
Will walk again with no trials to bear.
Murmurings and complaints will vanish
Those dark clouds of grief will be no more
The weather will be just right for everyone
Oh! The Joy to be on Heaven’s bright shore.
We will see Jesus, our precious Savior
Praising Him with the Angels too
Then we shall meet our loved ones again
Someday, when life here, is through.

FAITH WILL CONQUER
If you are going through a trial
And the burden is heavy for you
Surrender it all to Jesus
He knows what to do.
Increase your Faith every day
Keep pressing on and be strong
Faith will conquer every fear
God can fill your heart with song.
Even when you are so weary
And when tears dim your eyes
Trust in God to bring you through.
He is with you and hears your cries.
When discouragement touches your mind
And your heart aches with pain
God will lift the hard times from you
Be patient as He restores you again.
Pray to God for every moment
Lift your voice up in praise
It will help to lift your spirit
Let Him guide in all your ways.
