How Is Your Heart?
Life offers right and wrong things to do
Be very careful on the journey you trod
Pause for just a moment and think…
Is your heart right with God?
It is easy to want our own way
Be lifted from darkness into light
God is watching the path you take
Just be sure your heart is right.
Your heart must be right with God
Keep it tender and always be kind
Let Him guide your life every day
Love is the key to Heaven that will bind.
Things may look right in what you do
But how is it…in God’s eyes?
Be careful to not be deceived
Wrong looks right, but it’s a disguise.
God sees…He hears…He knows
Everything we say and what we do
He will clean our slate every day
If we ask Him in prayer…will you?

A DAY IS COMING
There is a day that is coming soon
When Jesus our Savior will arrive
Be sure your heart is right with God
That’s the only way you will survive.
Don’t reject Christ any longer
He suffered and died for mankind
He is coming for those who love Him
Please do not choose to be left behind.
Turn away from sins that beset you
The arms of Jesus are stretched out still
His love reaches into your heart
Just as it did there at Calvary’s hill.
Jesus told us to love one another
It’s a Commandment we must obey
Love even those who do us wrong
So we can live with Him some day.
Today is a great day to follow Him
As a lost sheep on a hillside
Surrender your life to Him today
In His love you can safely abide.

ARE WE READY?
The Lord is my Shepherd
He patiently leads His sheep
All we like sheep have gone astray
When a sheep is lost, He will weep.
In the morning when I awake
There is a need to call on the Lord
I am a sheep among the wolves
But good and evil will reap a reward.
When storms of trials assail me
He calms my weary troubled soul
We make a choice who we will serve
And to serve the Lord is my goal.
When I see the shadows of death
There is no reason to have fear
The Lord will be my Shepherd
I know He is always near.
If I were the only lost sheep
God would come searching for me
He will search until He finds you, too
He wants us all saved for Eternity.

TRUST
When we come to the end of our journey in life
We will stand in the presence of God above
He is keeping score of every moment of strife
And He knows our heart of its hate or its love.
As for me and our house, we will serve the Lord
Trusting in Him every day and obeying every command
We must read the Bible and believe His Word
He knows the path we walk…follow as He planned.
He is the keeper of our soul and knows if we go astray
He knows every heartache…He suffered them too
He sees every tear stain and gently wipes them away
He knows every trial you bear…He will guide you through.

JOY OF THE LORD
The Joy of the Lord is my strength
When trials of life rise against me
Trusting Him, I am able to endure
Then I claim His promise to be set free.
God protects me through every storm
He calms and shelters me in His Love
His promises are true and will not fail
There’s Joy to have a home in Heaven above.
I praise God for keeping me safe
While the storms and trials pass on by
He gives comfort as I lean on Him
Then He places a rainbow in the sky.
The sunshine comes to me again
All the clouds of doubt disappear
I am never alone in the darkness
God sees and brushes away every tear.
In the dark hours of the storm
I listen for the Lord’s voice
He helps me through troubles every day
He is my strength and I rejoice.

WORK WILL WAIT
Come to Worship
It’s the Lord’s Day
Lay aside your labors
Sing hymns and pray.
Praise God today
He is good to you
He changes not
He is faithful and true.
You are never alone
Come to worship Him
He never forsakes you
Don’t let faith grow dim.
Serve Him with gladness
Serve in worship and praise
Trust in Him every moment
Let Him guide your ways.
Come to worship Jesus
He is our Lord and King
Work will wait another day
Lift up your voice and sing.

WORKING AND LISTENING
Let us all be found busy
Watching and listening for our Lord
He is coming to this earth again
Read the Bible…it is sharper than any two-edged sword.
Keep on working until He comes
Serve Him faithfully every day
Help others and do all you can
Smile to those you meet along your way.
Go about the day being busy
Working and listening for our Lord
Help a lost soul find Jesus too
Friend, He is the One to be adored.
The coming of Jesus will be very fast
Pray you are somewhere working for Him
Listen for His voice to call your name
Be sure your faith will not be dim.
Praise Him every day
Watch as you wait
Work and be listening
Then, you won’t be too late.

KEEP ON…FOR THE LORD
Keep on watching for Jesus
Let your faith remain strong
Live in peace while on earth
And strive to never do wrong.
Keep on waiting for the Lord
He is coming one of these days
Don’t give up hope, but trust Him
Let Him guide all your ways.
Keep on working for the Lord
Serve and praise Him every day
Help others who are cast down
And don’t ever forget to pray.
Keep on living in God’s will
Not your will, but Thine be done
We must remember…He is in control
Until all of our battles are won.
Keep on walking with the Lord
Don’t look back where you’ve been
Walk by faith and not by sight
He is coming…keep doing for Him…
until then.

TOUCH OF HEAVEN
Heaven will be a Glorious place
Pause to imagine the beauty there
No sinus trouble will be there, because…
We will breathe pure Celestial air.
No death can ever be there
No nights to cry with pain
All tears will be wiped away
No life will be with sins stain.
No wheel chairs will be needed anymore
No canes or walkers will be there
No dim eyes, but only perfect vision
No glasses to prevent the sunshine glare.
No ear-aches of pain can ever enter
No tooth-aches will ever be again
No heart monitors or pace makers there
As here on earth where we’ve been.
No crutches or casts; no hospital beds
Doctors and Dentists will be un-employed
Nurses will not be on call anymore
And no-one will ever be annoyed.
A head-ache will never be known
No loneliness; no flowers to fade or die
Legs will walk or run on beautiful clover
We’ll be with Jesus…somewhere above the sky.
Oh! The Joy to finally be Home!

SEEK THE LORD
Seek the Lord while He may be found
Call upon Him while He is near
He loves you and gives His mercy
Trust in Him with faith…have no fear.
Forsake your ways of sin today
His grace is sufficient for you
Become humble and live for Him
He will make your way completely new.
His grace gives comfort and joy
Then, you can live in peace
He will pardon every stain of sin
His love for you will never cease.
God will never leave or forsake you
Take no thought for another tomorrow
He will guide you and give protection
He is there beside you in your sorrow.
God will help you understand all things
Don’t let the future trouble you…He is strong
Let His peace rule within your heart
Seek the Lord and sing an old-time song.

I DON’T HAVE TIME
How often we hear the phrase:
"I would like to help you today
But, you see, I don’t have time…
I am really busy, but I’ll try to pray."
Let’s pause just a moment to think
What if God were too busy for us?
Yet, when we call, He is always there
That’s why…in Him, we can trust.
God is never too busy to hear prayers
We can go to Him…day or night
He is with us wherever we are
We are never out of His sight.
When someone is in a time of need
Please do not be too busy to care
We may be in need, sometime, too
Let’s lift one another up in daily prayer.
”I’m too busy” and “don’t have time”
Is it an excuse…or is it a reason?
God is listening to everything we say
Every moment of the day or the season.
Let us not disappoint God at any time
We know not when our life will end
In every way, try to please Him
And remember…He is our best Friend.
